As I am sure many of you already know, my name is Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, former Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Supreme Mugwump, and Chief Warlock. I am deceased as of June 1997, and currently reside in the Headmistress' office.
I must admit that I rarely indulge myself in Muggle technology, but I am sure you would understand that existing as a spot of paint is not particularly entertaining, especially during the summer break.
I also feel obliged to express my confusion when it comes to the date of birth I had to provide. This... spiderweb sight clearly is not meant for people over 90, and despite my reputation as a powerful wizard, I have not succeeded in preventing aging, and nor have I tried. I sincerely hope that I will be accepted here regardless of this little flaw in my character.

Muggle technology may be confusing but our headmistress and we professors would love to help you out whenever needed.
As a portrait, you're freed from your administrative duties, I'm sure you have enough free time to add your infinite wisdom to our discussions or perhaps you have had time to take up some more creative endeavors which you could share with us here or maybe start a thread to share your fanfics (if you have any) with us here. Maybe you would be interested in participating in our Weekly writing challenges?

Ah. I am glad to hear I have not yet lost my touch, and was still able to surprise you. Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome. I would have offered you sweets to express my gratitude but, unfortunately, that burden would have to fall on the shoulders of someone who is still among the living.
