My Snape renders are done using a custom model I created in Daz Studio, Zbrush, Blender, and Photoshop. Clothing was created in Marvelous Designer and is very much a work in progress. 🙂

Great lighting effects. How do you get the hair to show movement?

Each element (character, hair, and clothing) is a solid object that can be posed and shaped within the program. One way to do it (and how I did it here) is through morphing. Hard to explain, but morphs are basically shape modifiers that are created to work with a specific object.

For example, the image on the left is the base figure (Genesis 8 Male). I morphed it to create my Severus model (right), which in this case, involved making the body thinner and tweaking the facial features in my modeling program. It still uses the base figure, but I can change the appearance by applying the morph I created/using custom skin textures.

Severus II (2019)

Earlier version of my Severus model. I didn't have a lot of clothing yet (and didn't know how to create my own), so I had to put him in a monk's robe. 😂
