I just joined and thought I'd say hi. I'm late 30s and was a big fan in high school and college. Moved away from the HP fandom for a few reasons, not least of which the way that Snape gets treated. But I recently got the super nostalgic urge to dive back in.
I'm a diehard Snamione shipper. I wrote fanfic back in the day but not HP fanfic funny enough. Still read tons of it though. I was also a Snape roleplayer for a while on Tumblr til that place got too toxic to function.
Now I'm looking for good fanfics I haven't read yet and thinking of writing my own. Ran across this site in a Google search and thought it was cool that there was still an active place for Snape fans out there. 🙂

I totally get what you're saying about Tumblr. Most major platforms are toxic as hell when it comes to fandom stuff, which is why I wanted to create an independent community. We might be much smaller/less active at times, but there's also a lot less drama and absolutely zero Snape hate.
As far as ships go… Snily is my favorite, but I can definitely get on board with Snamione. I actually completed a story about them a few years ago, which you might enjoy if you like postwar fics and don't mind just a wee bit of Weasley bashing. 🙂
