Quote from The Gestalt Prince on April 3, 2023, 2:55 amI'd have to go with the Elder Wand. The Stone could lead down a pretty dark road, and the Cloak is almost obsolete if the Wand can be used to Disillusion the wielder.

Quote from Heatherlly on April 3, 2023, 4:14 amDefinitely the cloak. While @thegestaltprince's reasoning is valid (and tempting), I'd always have to deal with others trying to gain mastery over the wand. That's why Severus was killed, after all, so yeah… I'd prefer to keep a lower profile. 🙂

Quote from Krystal on April 3, 2023, 12:18 pmInvisibility Cloak for the same reason as @heatherlly.
Elder Wand isn't worth the trouble it invites. And I am sure Invisibility Cloak of death is certainly better than regular ones made of Demiguise pelts as per my theory of being made with Thestral skin.

Quote from Naaga on April 3, 2023, 1:28 pmMy choice is the Elder Wand.
Stone is out for the reason mentioned by @thegestaltprince.
Cloak while useful, never had any feats exceeding that of a normal Invisibility Cloak. DH Cloak is just eternal working durable one so I can get same functionality with regular Cloak.
Elder Wand because this one is unique and grants power beyond limits. If Dumbledore can keep mum about the secret for his whole lifetime, so can I, a Slytherin never reveals his secret weapon. I would also keep training a second wand incase I lose Elder Wand to an ambush like Dumbledore lost to Draco and Draco lost to Harry.

Quote from Motanul Negru on April 13, 2023, 12:38 pmOoh, I'm really the first vote for the Resurrection Stone?
Because I've been thinking for a long time what a huge advantage it is to have the ability to put questions to the spirits of the dead.
Imagine pulling a Roman intellectual and having them recite a lost Classic, or questioning Morfin Gaunt about his supposed murders of the Riddles when he's too ded to feel his nephew's Imperius curse!

I believe Resurrection Stone comes with a limitation that you can only recall your loved ones, otherwise I would've voted for it if it could recall any dead.

Quote from TimeLadyJamie on May 27, 2023, 2:16 amI choose the Resurrection Stone for a bit of a silly, but true reason. Not only can it recall your loved ones, which honestly I would be tempted to use, but because it reminds me of that one picture floating around the internet that many fans have made comparing Harry, Voldemort, and Snape to the Deathly Hallows. Voldemort being the one who died for power (The Elder Wand), Snape being the one who died for lost love (The Resurrection Stone), and Harry being the one who greeted death as an old friend (Invisibility Cloak.)
I've always thought that comparison was so fitting, and of course I would agree with Snape.

Quote from Motanul Negru on May 27, 2023, 7:26 amThe legend said the brother asked for something to recall people from death, without specifying the girl he'd hoped to marry; nor did Death confer any limitation.
Because Rowling is a Romantic, Cadmus Peverell and Harry use it to summon their loved ones, and Dumbledore is tempted to do the same; but I am not, and I'd rather see if, say, Cicero is up for a post-death chat (after I learn enough Latin).
I would also like to name more ancient people like Imhotep but learning any language he'd understand is, ah, tricky.
