I went with Marauders Era, Severitus, Time Travel, and Snape's role compromised (the 4th one is a concept I haven't properly read, but it appeals to me)

I've read Snape befriending the Marauders in the past (Severus Snape and the Art of War) and while I liked it in the past, re-evaluating the Marauders has made me less open to the trope

Ha! I selected all of the above! Anything with Snape featuring significantly and I'll give it a try. It doesn't mean I'll love it but I always give Snape-centric fics a chance. I have made quite many experiences so far...some lovely..some so so and some traumatizing.
