Severus is a wizard and is very skilled with his words. I don’t see this being a problem for him. “Point me” spell, his mind arts, and combination of his own spells to trap or take down. He can easily collect any of these Pokémon’s for his own.

Are we ignoring Severus is a wizard in this pseudo world?

Yeah, I really can catch legendaries but having a team full of OP legendaries, where's fun in that? 😸

So, I made this Snape team with Severus Snape being a Dark type specialist. Feeling lazy to type out explainations, hence feel free to analyse it based on the picture. 😸

And following team is reserves, he often switches out some guys from below team based on matchups.

I don't know most of these and the Alolan Muk looks too colorful for him in my opinion

As he is a master of mind arts I would give him a psychic/dark team:

Necrozma Dawn wings for being legendary, psychic/ghost and the bat-like appearance

Metagross for sectumsempra as it is a steel/psychic type with good stamina a psychic abilities

Umbreon would be my pick of all the dark types, it is calm, smooth, velvety as the night sky, and deadlier than it appears

I can see dearling as his patronus but would really like him to have umbreon as a pet!
