Do you need a special tablet or pen to use any of these AI programs? I am curious about AI generating art. Years ago I tried Photoshop and I didn't have the patience. I thought I'd rather just do it by hand (I draw okay but not great) but I also believe I didn't have the best equipment.  I believe that AI can also provide a background. I'm thinking of  row houses, detail backgrounds(libraries, kitchens, potion labs) and drawings that have a lot of perspective (window scenes, nature).

No special equipment needed for gen AI like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini. You just need good prompting skills because all the generation happens at server side in the cloud.

Thanks Naaga. I was playing with a few. Some I got very frustrated with and some don't do fan art. Some wanted me to pay right away. No. I find Picsart the easiest to use so far.

I wanted to make a 18 to 20 ish Severus at Spinner's End.

I'm still playing around. I did some Archie comic book versions of Severus. A teenage version and a little version.

I thought that the first Little Severus was a little thicker than I imagined him, so I thinned him down.

I also thought I would do Lily and others of that generation. Mostly using 80s movie stars. For Lily I used Susan Dey a 70s TV star. My goal is to get them all as Archie and little Archie figures. Don't ask me why? It is just a weird goal I have and I laugh while doing it?

The head looks a bit big for her body, but a least she doesn't have a Nikey for her right hand anymore.

I  I would get James out of the way. I wanted to use James Spader, because of his character Steff McKee in Pretty in Pink, but I couldn't find any younger picture with James Spader with glasses. I know I could probably add glasses, but when it comes to working with AI or any computer program for art work my patience only lasts so long.  So a picture of Christian Bale in American Pschyo came up and I thought that would work for me.

Him in a sailor outfit, because you know he is a soil brat and him mother probably though he was precious in it and do did he.

I still have more Archie type characters, but I was trying Adobe Firefly this morning and used one of my   "paintings".  I do like graphic art, crazy characters, animation and all those kinds of things.

Here is the original acrylic painting.

Graphic style.

I was also able to make a short video. The prompt I used was magical children who meet up with magical children and meet up with witch hunters dressed in 1960s Mod style. But they wore Mod style clothing and the women had hair styles from the 1950s, but I used up all my generations for today. So they will have to have outdated hairstyles. I don't know how to post a short video yet.
