“Severus, I went to see your mother today. She is such a kind woman! Look what she gave me?”
You happily show him a picture of a chubby baby with obsidian eyes and a cuddly bat-shaped hat.
Severus freezes, widening his eyes.
“What did that hag give you...” he whispers quietly as his cheeks turn completely red.
“Oh, come on Sev, don't be shy. Your mother wanted to share some moments from your childhood. I had no idea how sweet you were… she even gave me this!” you pull out the bat-shaped hat from the picture.
“No!” Severus covers his eyes with a trembling hand.
You smile amusedly as you put it on.
“Hmm, and there's still your sweet scent of white musk…”
“If... you're going to show it to someone.... I... I...” he mutters through clenched teeth, and at that moment Dumbledore enters the meeting room.
“Albus!” you turn around, but with a sudden jerk Severus pulls you into his arms to kiss you intensely.
“That's a good way to shut me up” you smile amusedly at his eager lips.

I'm over the moon! My commission from @chipartwork on Tumblr is complete! It is a scene in CH35 of my fic, Light of Mine, portraying a very beautiful, emotional scene between the two, and the first time Severus allowed her to touch him without flinching. At this point, they are platonic and a friend Severus can place his trust in. Her patience and care for him in this scene always makes me emotional.
It was the first scene I wrote entirely before I even began writing the first chapter. I am in love with my own OTP <333

Thank you so much!!! It's very emotive as to how deep and impactful their private conversation was <333 I love how well Chip has captured his emotions - we had some trouble initially figuring out a perspective, and decided to sacrifice seeing Dawn's face because it's Severus' we need to see, and her hand on his expresses her own emotions enough.

Dawn has tears running down her face as she's tenderly consoling him, and Severus is clutching her dearly with his own eyes reddened, after waking up from a crippling nightmare again, usually from when he was mauled by Nagini. A recurring nightmare he can still feel.
