The Prince of Alchemy (Severus/Lily) T
Quote from SnapDragon on March 30, 2026, 4:01 amCharacters/Pairings: Severus Snape/Lily Evans, Severus Snape, Lily Evans, Albus Dumbledore, Nicolas Flamel, Pernelle Flamel, Regulus Black, Remus Lupin, Alastor Moody, Lucius Malfoy, James Potter, Sirius Black, Voldemort
Rating/Warnings: Teen and Up / Major Charachter Death, Addictive behaviour
Summary:
Who can resist the lure of power?
Severus thought he would spend a calm summer before his seventh year with his chosen family, but soon he faces challenges and temptations he never imagined. Meanwhile, Dumbledore keeps Voldemort’s fractured soul locked in a golden cage on his desk while searching for Horcruxes. At least, that’s what he says he’s doing. But who can be trusted when the web of lies begins to unravel?
In the end, it becomes painfully clear that knowing right from wrong is never simple, and that Severus Snape may still be his own worst enemy.
This is a sequel to my first fic, The Necromancer's stone. The Prince of Alchemy can be read as a standalone, but some of the friendships and the background of some magical objects might be clearer if you are familiar with the first part.
