Dutch Slytherpuff

Greetings those who have found my profile, I bid you a warm welcome. Allow me to introduce myself.

I am DutchSlytherpuff—or rather, that is my online name—and I am 22 years of age. I’m from the Netherlands. Back in 2013-ish I first took the Pottermore test shortly after learning of its existence and according to that test I am a Hatstall between Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Thus my name for all things fandom became: DutchSlytherpuff.

I chose Hufflepuff back then. I stand by that choice, although I do see some very strong Slytherin traits in myself, especially when it comes to self-preservation and determination. I also love all things Slytherin and many of my favourite characters are from that House.

Harry Potter is my main fandom and it is the only one I write for. I have been trying to write since around 2015/2016 ish but I got serious in 2018 when I started my first drafts of my Snape story—a story that has seen many versions since and still needs to be rewritten to fit my current views and writing abilities, not just in storytelling/plotwise but also in the English language in general. I’ve come a long way. It is currently on hiatus, however.

My latest project is a longfic about Regulus Black. He is another one of my favourite characters. I also write for several challenges and competitions.

Aside from Harry Potter, I like The Sims 1, 2, and 3, I like reading children’s books and some YA (especially The Hunger Games), I love Tolkien’s Arda-verse, I like languages, I like Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (and vampires in general), and Starkid. This is as close as I get to a secondary fandom, probably. They are totally awesome.

Aand I still listen to wrock and bad parody songs. It’s my guilty pleasure haha.
