hello,
i am a young mom at home with my newborn, reading through the HP books for the first time. (actually, I'm listening to them for free on YouTube...mainly because I'm poor, haha, and I can't get to a library at present, either)...but, in spite of the (often truly godawful) AI generated audio, I have become enraptured...On my second ''read'' (i.e., YouTube ''listen'') through all 7 books, I actually cried quite a bit...and then I read the fan fics ''Come Once Again and Love Me'' and ''The Gestaltation of Severus Snape'' and those *really* made me cry.
now I am on my 3rd listen of the AI-voice YouTube audiobooks and still picking up on a lot I didnt catch during my first two (slightly delirious, sleep deprived) listens while I was recovering postpartum and walking back and forth with my baby in the middle of the night earlier this summer (which, I swear, has to be the most emotionally intense way to experience the Harry Potter books lol).
