I can't believe I missed this! That is a wonderful, minimalistic piece. I recently bought a pack of black drawing pens. I love the kinds of lines and appearances of textures they can make!

Not yet. (I'm predominantly active in the Star Wars fandom.)
Nevertheless, one of the pics I'm working on right now is a portrait of our good Potions professor.
Though I don't usually do portraits, I suddenly felt compelled drawing one.

I hope it'll turn somewhat decent.

I used reference for facial anatomy, but not for the actual look, which is just the Snape of my mind. Which means there was a lot of erasing during the sketching process.
(I also considered putting some reflection in his eyes, but that would make them look too alive. 'Might as well put a smile on his lips and a bounce in his step', I told myself and put the white cover-marker away. After all, canon Snape is supposed to have eyes like black tunnels. Pic below is a detail from the unedited, original size scan.)
