It may be anecdotal or whatever, but I never got disciplined, but the threat of being disciplined was enough to make me behave. Now whether that makes me a bootlicker or coward, or just a keep your head down and follow the rules kind of loser, I don't really know. But I am of an opinion that there has to be some level of strictness and punishment for misbehaving children, or at least the threat of it, to keep them in line. With that controversial take, I am going to slither out of this conversation.

I agree with you. Children need to know boundaries.

I agree me too. These days, there are many cases of new parents applying MBTI or the myth that it is a good education method to their children's home education method, and they say that the number of spoiled children has increased because they are overprotective. It is said that parents from the 1990s and 2000s, who had a strong sense of opposition to adults in the past, tended to do this.

The worst thing is that there was someone who spread false facts and educational methods about autism and ADHD, calling them "King's DNA." Parents who saw this read false documents about how to treat their children, claiming, "My child has the emperor's DNA," and complained and interfered with the teachers' teaching methods. It's such a shame. Beyond being kind, “Educate child like a king, like an emperor.” They harassed teachers in this way.
