Introduction & Few Questions 🙂
Hi, I am new to this whole stuff. (recently watched movies for the first time)
I don't know you guys accept a movie person or not, I m trying to read books though.
I am a fan of Severus Snape, but whenever I tend to say something I get a shutup call from some haters saying, "book snape" and movie snape are different characters and you dont love snape, but you love Alan Rickman, movie snape was nice and likable while book snape ain't.
Just wanna say I have read few posts and appreciate this community.

Welcome! I don't think it matters if you’re a book or movie Snape fan, fandom shouldn't be a competition about being the most correct fan... Snape is an (outstanding, admirable and intriguing) fictive character, and we are all free to imagine the parts about his history and person that our prefered canon source leave out, or blend the versions.
I like both. I tend to combine them in my head when I'm reading fics or creating anything. I don't think there is a right or wrong 'version' of Snape. You can like the books, the films or both.

First of all, I strongly recommend that you don't listen to "fans" that are rude to you, or tell you what to think. Everyone can have his or her opinion without bashing someone else. We don't tolerate that kind of nonsense over here, so you are welcome to express whatever opinion you like.
