It has a completely different feel than the movies. I like that. Music is good, visuals are good, characters look great (especially the trio). I'm still not interested in watching due to the Snape miscasting, though I do look forward to reading reviews.

As a side note, Christmas 2026 is sooner than I expected. The timing makes sense, though.

I think the colors were too dark, and I would've preferred brighter color. Otherwise, except for a certain character cast, it looks good. Petunia definitely gave abusive vibes with getting canon Petunia's bitterness and pettiness right.

Apart from the one poor casting decision, it looks good. I also like the golden trio. Hagrid's rather proper English in the trailer makes me a bit worried that they make the characters too clean, but that remains to be seen!

Yeah, HBO is bad about that. There was a nighttime battle in the final season of Game of Thrones (2019) that was so dark you couldn't even see what was happening half the time. I remember tons of people complaining, including some who contacted the company directly. Unfortunately, HBO is notorious for ignoring viewer feedback. :/

Yeah, it's more of HBO's fault. They're stubbornly fixed on using darker colors but seriously, that visibility sucks. I also remember that GOT S08 battle episode and it sucked with being too dark.

It's especially bad for actors with darker skin. I had to skip back three times to catch that split second clip of PE, and even then, I could barely even see him.

On that note… is it just me, or does it seem like they're going out of their way to feature him as little as possible? We've heard almost nothing about him since the initial casting, and that trailer clip was quite literally "blink and you'll miss it".

I think they're keeping mystery regarding him for the new viewers, since he's the primary antagonist of the first book (according to Harry) before the reveal of it being Quirrel all along.
