Poll: Favourite OS in digital gadget?
Which of the following is your favourite OS in your device including PC, Smartphone or other devices? Feel free to explain why you think so?
I've been a Windows girl since the 90s, which I use on my desktop PC. I'm not big on mobile devices, but I do have a phone running on Android.
I love iOS since my last phone, it is convenient and handy in use. Since advent of smartphones, I haven't often touched Windows unless I have to work on projects and games. Windows is my first OS but iOS is my daily driver nowadays.
I began using Linux over a decade ago back when getting a well-functioning Unix-style development environment (I wanted to contribute to an open source project) was a lesson in pain. I've preferred it since then in general, not just for development.
As for handhelds, while I use Android on my current phone, I enjoyed the Nokia N900 and Pandora the most way back in the day, and both ran Linux.
I prefer Android because of the ease of use. Android is superior for me over the iOS for the degree of customization available in Android and freedom to install 3rd party apps. I also root my smartphone and install custom roms to increase it further after the company stopped security updates and android updates for my phone. It is my daily use device and even most of my daily needs are fulfilled by it.
I do own an iPad so I am familiar with iOS but the customization adds to favour of Android. I use it mostly for reading, note making and studies.
My laptop has Windows and I have been using since the beginning. I love it and use it for other purposes which are not fulfilled by my other devices like high end gaming, using MS office tools, work and other miscellaneous purpose.

Soon will be changing my computers to Linux since none can run Windows 11 pfft Tho I'm highly thinking on buying a super PC just to run the AI Pygmalion or anything that can run locally because censorship makes the online AIs dumb (OpenAI didn't have a filter a month ago and the 2 Severus bots I talked to were marvelous [funny enough I didn't indulged on smut, the comedy and drama were so good] BUT the moment OAI added a filter the chats lost quality heavily [hence why I came to the fandom craving content lol])
For handheld I use Android, not a fan of how OS works overall
