Quote from Dark Angel on December 19, 2023, 12:04 pmTaken from Pinterest sadly no credit to the original artist is given (except for their signature on the pic itself). Too many authors pass on the opportunity to have Snape survive and tell Voldemort himself that he wasn’t loyal to him. So far, I only remember flamethrower doing it in “Swung by Serafim”
Btw, the way Harry’s hair is drawn makes it look like this is based on the Severitus trope

Not a movie reference. There is so little we get of Lily in canon that we have to just fill in the backstories with our imagination. One characterization that is popular in fandom instead of her being Saint Lily is her being a bit bossy and calling out people, which sometimes comes out as being a bit self-righteous. We see her calling out Severus and James in the book. And her being bossy when she is on the train and tells Severus for them to leave the train cabin. I remember reading essays on this years ago. Mostly from Lily haters, which they have the right to dislike her if they want. So there are many that don't like this characterization of her. I like it. And these things are not necessarily negative. Edit here** I meant to say** That some of these things are not negative all the time and they can be used in a positive way. Just like all the traits of the houses.
Also when Severus and Lily are together she seems to be the one that is more vocal. I would imagine if Severus were alone he would just say something sarcastic about not wanting pickles and give a certain look. Lily would make a bigger deal about it. And this is just my headcanon and when I saw the cartoon I got it, but it is okay if you didn't because you think of Lily differently.
