What Songs Remind You of Severus Snape and/or His Relationships?

Specifically, when he realized back then that becoming a Death Eater was a mistake and then became a spy.Otherwise, you'll need to turn on English subtitles in the settings for the song.

There might be some German-speakers, but I am not one of them. But I did listen to the video without the reading the lyrics first. I like to do that first. I'm old, so I come from a time when I couldn't look up lyrics. Like the first I saw the music videos of: 99 Luftballons, Der Kommissar and Rock Me Amadeus. Music videos and and MTV were new then, so they were playing what videos they got and that as why there was a second British Music British invasion. So I am told. Any way, keep on posting. I like to hear different kind of music in different kinds of languages. My playlist has a variety of languages. I do like the 1960s French music style yé-yé.
I did have the CDs of the rock opera Tanz der Vampire, which I did listen to. I don't know what took me down that rabbit hole if it was because I saw The Fearless Vampire Killers (which the musical was based on), looking up Jim Steinman (who wrote the music and English lyrics) or listening to Bonnie Tyler's song Total Eclipse of the Heart( who had a hit with the song in 1983 and was in the musical). The musical was brought to Broadway but it flopped. Supposedly Michael Crawford who was cast as lead was to old for the part and people who went to see it didn't know what to make out of it. Anyway, here I am rambling about a musical I want to see and will probably never see live. I see it still plays in some parts of Europe at hotels or something. I'm guessing it is a thing for old people like me. Kind of like when older musical acts start headlining casinos and hotels.
*Dance of the Vampires* is actually coming back to Germany next year in March 2027, but only until October 2027. Oh yeah, *Dance of the Vampires* is really good. I’ve actually seen the musical. I’m not exactly young anymore, but I’m not that old either *laughs*—I was born in the late ’70s, so I’m right in the middle. Yeah, Falco and Nena are great singers; I like listening to Falco—he’s written a lot of great songs.

I am in the youth of old age now, so around ten years older than you. 😅 Glad to hear you got to watch it. I have watched it on YT, but when it comes to a live performance there is nothing like it. Usually. There are many Jim Steinman songs I like. His songs are so melodramatic and haunting. Great for teenage dramatics. He worked a lot with Meatloaf and other musicians that had hits in the USA. But I will shut up for now. You should share some of Falco's songs in the music section or whatever you want.

i think of a hug from Severus when i listen to this (yes i know how pathetic that sounds)
awww! : )
"Saturn" by the same group is one of my favorites (never fails to bring tears to my eyes)...it's also kinda like Severus giving Lily a hug--though I never thought of the connection till you mentioned "I'll Keep You Safe" : )

That was nice. Thank you. This reminds me of my mother when she was dying of Alzheimer, which will be five years this coming Wed. It also reminded me of music I heard when watching Smallville. I did look it up to see if it ever was on the show, but no. But the singer's name is Ryan O'Neal, which reminded me of the actor Ryan O'Neal, which reminded me of the movie Love Story and ...
And that is how I go down rabbit holes
