Snape's 'environment'?
Bit of a random question... but I'm doing some redecorating and I've seen some amazing videos of people turning their homes (or individual rooms) into Harry Potter themed ones using methods like foam carving to make fake stone/brick/wood work, etc. I'm thinking about doing something similar, but specifically Snape-themed.
So I'm looking for visual ideas for what people imagine his 'environment' to look like? Obviously his own rooms at the castle and Spinners End, but also areas associated with him like the Slytherin common rooms, his classrooms, office, and places he would spend a lot of time in (regardless of whether he'd have any say over how they looked).
I'm basically trying to gather together a sort of image board of random places. Sketches, photos of similar places, objects he'd own, colour schemes, anything relevant. AI is welcome (I'm not going to keep/use any of these images afterwards).
I think Snape themed "environment" would be dark and unsaturated. A mini library with DADA, Potions and anything interesting related to magic with an emphasis on history. There would be exotic Potions ingredients used for decorations. Everything would be neatly organised. That's what I imagine his "environment" in general in terms of aesthetics.
I tend to think of the bedroom as grey and black. With not much on the walls unless there is a bookshelf.

I also think of herbs or plants drying.
I also think of a cast iron wood burning stove, but I wouldn't recommend it. 😅

Also, maybe a lighted aquarium as a nod to the Slytherin common room?
Shelves of assorted clear glass jars for rocks, different mosses, cork wood, driftwood, shells, lavender buds, chamomile flowers, or even live 'specimens'...could include a pet hermit crab or a pet newt or a pet snake in a tank...or a goldfish like the one Lily gave Slughorn...or a collection of dark green, purple, blue, etc, Siamese fighter fish (each kept in a separate jar where they can't see each other)...There's also a guy on YouTube who keeps a rescue grocery store lobster as a pet. ''Leon the Lobster.'' Pets would take a lot of time and research though ; )
Victorian-style live terrarium...maybe one housing Neville's toad? (sorry, i'll stop with the pets)
Liquor cabinet with decorative flasks/decanters + elaborate accoutrements for stirring/mixing drinks?
minimalist Torchiere-style lamps

Fleur-de-lis symbol hidden somewhere, like on an urn or plant pot or lamp base
Paperwhites/Narcissus bulbs

Pressed flowers, popular in the victorian era...a petunia flattened, preserved, and stuck to a wood board with a pin?

Good luck with your redecorating! I realize belatedly my suggestions probably weren't very helpful. I was thinking pretty much only of easily procurable modern decor items--better suited, really, for decorating the Snape-themed room at a New England bed and breakfast lol.
If you're going for more like a full-blown foam modeling project, that is so awesome.
