And I started with Fanfiction  net  and Live Journal when I started writing fanfiction. I can't seem to upload anything on Fanfiction these days, because it doesn't support what I am using or something like that. There is a New FanFiction  Net and it is supposed to have the same database of stories. But I had no luck getting in. Has anyone tried it or know anything about it.

I still go to Life Journal to look for stories in old exchanges. Especially SS/HG and LESS which is Snily.

I know some of the older sites closed down but I saw that these were still up.

I’ve also uploaded a fanfiction story to FFN myself, and it’s always acting up for me, too. I hope I can help you—you just have to be patient.

When I want to upload a new chapter, I enter my label as usual. Then I check the “Copy-N-Paste” box and paste the text I copied from Word there. When I click “Submit Document,” I often see a red message saying it can’t be uploaded. (Processing Error: Unfortunately, we are unable to process the document you have submitted.) But I’m persistent—I just keep clicking “Submit Document” over and over again. It’s a bit annoying, but sometimes after the 5th try, or even after the 10th, my chapter finally uploads. It can take more than 10 tries, but eventually it gets uploaded.
I’m not familiar with the new FFN myself.
