I thought we could share news regarding the franchise here.
Based on this article I highly doubt that the FB movies will be continued. Apparently, they never signed up for five movies in the first place.
I also read that David Yates has moved on from Harry Potter for good when asked about the reboot. I guess he's done with the Wizarding World in general.
That's unfortunate news. I hear there will be a Harry Potter series to look forward to.
I wanted to see Tina's and Newt's wedding at the very least. They got me invested in those characters.
I do hope the series will not only follow the books but also include some new info. If we can't have a whole book series on the Marauder Era, why not dedicate two or three episodes to it?
Well I already knew about FB being cancelled but still sad to see it confirmed, I hope they can release any potential future movie script as small book for some measure of closure.
I have never been active on Twitter (or X or whatever it is called) and definitely won't be from now on but does Rowling still respond to her fans? Has anyone tried to request the remaining scripts in book form from her?
