I can't stand him personally, but I love the name Draco Malfoy.
I love names that indicate someone's personality.
Draco, of course, being the infamous Greek lawgiver whose punishments for even trivial crimes would today be described as 'draconian'. (Draco's name was also spelt as 'Dracon'.) Also, I love the use of hard 'd' consonant for a villainous character. ('Dudley Dursley' for example. Coincidence?) Apparently this word means 'dragon' in Latin.
Malfoy-- I can only assume based on 'mal' and 'foy' (now spelt 'foi') in French that this means 'bad faith'. (EDIT: just checked online, and yes.)
