I just want to clarify, in case I am missing something:

  1. When I am on the site and do not log in, I get the Forum as the homepage
  2. After logging in, I get a 'Home' page, but no link on the sidebar to the Forum
  3. I click on 'Recent Posts' and use the navigation links at the top to reach the forum
  4. It seems the only way I can reach the forum is by amending the url

Is anyone else experiencing this?

It seems the only way I can reach the forum is by amending the url

You can click the AlwaysSnape logo at the top to reach the forum

Yes, but when I click 'Home' on my sidebar, I get the old 'home' page. I have taken Salyvus' advce and clicked on the logo, which leads me to the home page.

All right, y'all, I'm fed up with our hosting provider. I'm going to move the site to a new host, which will involve several hours of downtime, but it should get rid of those annoying database errors.

I'll let you know when I'm going to do the transfer, which should be sometime over the next few days. Stay tuned!
