How old is the Severus Snape living in your mind?
Yes. I agree that the picture does feel like a Quasimodo. And what I remember is that the only ones really described as handsome in the book were Sirius, Bill, Tom, Blaise and I think Gilderoy Lockhart. There are probably others that I can't remember. Severus looks are very striking and even though they are not attractive features they do draw attention. Usually people who look like this also tend to attract a lot of people. I'm thinking of my college years and remember guys that looked like how Severus was described. It was a look I didn't find attractive at that time, but some of my friends did. Severus was young when he started to teach and was probably teaching children that were his fellow students at one time. Being the youngest teacher would also draw a lot of attention. I could see many students having a crush on him.

Well,I think slytherin or Hufflepuff student that is teenager will have great opinion of him. Especially slytherin girls. They love professor snape that always defended them wherever they make mistake,so I think severus always have special place in all of slytherin generation (unlike slughorn). For looks,I think adrien brody is not too ugly,but he is off course not handsome like channing tatum or christian bale. If we think snape version that is handsome, Keanu reeves is handsome version of snape (LOL)
I had to laugh because I just don't think Channing Tatum is good looking. I think he has a small face. Not that I am saying he is not attractive. I think Adrian Brody is good looking, but I understand how some people wouldn't think he was not. I agree with Christian Bale and Keanu Reeves and I would find it hard for someone to say they were not. I guess I am just pointing out that what somebody finds attractive and good looking is subjective, but maybe to a point. I don't know. Anyway, the actor that I think is the most handsome at this time is Henry Cavill and the most handsome actor of all time for me is Alain Delon.
