If you're currently online, you might've seen two threads pop up for meta posts. This was my bad – I was scheduling them to be posted to our blog in upcoming weeks, and I accidentally created forum threads for them as well.

We have a new subforum specifically for Snape meta/analysis. I thought it would be nice to have all of these in one place for members/visitors who might be looking for longer reads.
In the future, please share Snape related meta/analysis in this subforum. You can continue to post non-Snape related meta in Harry Potter Miscellanea. 🙂
@heatherlly can you make non-Snape meta a separate sub-forum in Harry Potter Miscellanea like you did for Snape meta for the similar reason that it be nice to have all of these in one place for members/visitors who might be looking for longer reads.
The reason I didn't do this is because (at least for now) there really isn't a need for it. Most of the meta you've posted in Miscellanea actually belonged in the Snape section and has been moved. There are only two of them left in Miscellanea, which is already less active than the Snape section.
I'll be happy to create one when/if there's a need for it (five thread minimum). If/when that happens, let me know and I'll take care of it. 🙂
Just checking whether anyone else is getting slow load times and struggling to 'like' posts? I am using a laptop.
Yeah, site is loading a little slower than usual, your are not alone in experiencing this thing.
Yes, it's happening for me as well. I'm not sure if it's just a slow night for the server (happens occasionally), or related to the new plugin I installed. I hope it's not the latter… that would suck after I went to all that trouble adding birthdays.
I'm going to disable it for an hour or two and see if there's a difference. If so, I'll just have to find another solution for keeping track.
Okay, I disabled the plugin, restarted the server, and load times are much faster. I'm going to try enabling the plugin and we'll see if it slows down again.
@everyone, @Heatherlly added "Members" to the main menu to make it more accessible and removed "Recent Posts". The latter page is still accessible from the top menu of the forum and the link she added to the widget on the right sidebar.
