No, it's not just you. I miss the old internet!

Bonus to anyone who was on LiveJournal. I was a constant user from 2001-2011. πŸ’š

So having started posting my stuff on Wattpad (forgive me), I now see that Wattpad allows you to block tags, meaning you can filter out works you don't want to see. I think this might be my favorite feature.

EDIT: Wattpad also has a really good demographics page.

Is Wattpad a good pipeline between fanfiction and publishing original fiction?

I'm not too sure, I've only ever gone there to read Snily if I saw something interesting

Isn't this no different from Ao3? Ao3 is my preferred site of choice for looking for fics personally.

I prefer AO3, finding fics on Wattpad is pain in the ass, with its not so good filters. Personally prefer FFN over other platforms for finding fics and AO3 for reading and keeping up.

I had that problem with finding fics on Wattpad a while back, although I am not sure whether this has been improved. I have not been on A03 in a while, but I definitely gravitate more towards the ff.net interface.

I'm not as experienced a reader as you, but on Ao3 and Fanfiction it's easy to copy texts into the translator. I read Snily in Polish on Wattpad.
