True, his introduction speech in PS made it clear that he wanted interested students who can appreciate the subtle art of Potion making and take right precautions in brewing.
And because older students have a little more common sense, and have since learned the basics already. NEWT curriculums are advanced stuff, now.
He is definitely more well-suited to NEWT students, and post-Hogwarts training.
Definitely. In a Post War scenario, I actually don't see him returning to teach Potions.
He would rather teach graduates with specialised training programs or return to teach DADA at Hogwarts.
I guess it depends on the situation and how dire Severus is after the war in securing a job, but otherwise, if he actually had a choice, Hogwarts would likely not be it. Too many terrible memories there, really.
But I see him training apprentices for Potions, and running his own business selling his new potion creations. Just inventing, mentoring older students, and enjoying his freedom and solitude.

I imagine Snape doing research, inventing new spells and potions and patenting them or as you have mentioned sell his potions for a living.
He would definitely not return to teaching unless to teach an apprentice or for a mastery.
And I love the idea of Snape as the Gordon Ramsey of the wizarding world. But Gordon is actually really good with kids, he's just nasty to useless adults.
Btw, a lot of fanfics feature a Snape who does use foul language outside the classroom. I actually prefer that given how he's from the bad side of town. I sincerely believe his eloquent speech is a result of discipline and lessons from Malfoy and his pureblood mother so he knows how to carry himself among Slytherins.
